LeanCor, LLC, Expands Services and Staff Florence, Kentucky 7/18/2008
LeanCor, LLC, a third-party logistics (3PL) provider dedicated to the application of lean principles throughout supply chain management functions, is poised to add a total of 20 jobs including 14 high-tech jobs at its facilities in Florence, Kentucky.

LeanCor offers training, education, consulting and logistics operations services to companies in their efforts to eliminate organizational waste, drive down costs and increase global competitive advantages. Building on over 15 years of experience, Robert Martichenko created LeanCor, LLC, in 2005 to drive the next step in the evolution of lean and address the unmet logistics needs of lean manufacturers and retailers. The company is currently developing the Lean Supply Chain Optimizer, a program that will automate route optimization, transportation management and business-to-business system communication for supply chain functions.

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority, through the KCED’s Department of Commercialization and Innovation, approved a $350,000 forgivable loan for the company. Additionally, $150,000 through the state’s Kentucky Jobs Development Act program was approved for LeanCor to support the development and implementation of The Lean Supply Chain Optimizer. The company expects to more than double its office space from 2,300 square feet to 6,000 square feet to accommodate the growth of its staff.
