About ezone

The Northern Kentucky ezone, a division of Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation, provides a support program for businesses ranging from start-up entrepreneurs to established companies commercializing a new product, technology or process. Support includes early stage capital in the form of grants, loans, forgivable loans and equity investments, through the Kentucky Enterprise Funds and the Kentucky Department of Commercialization and Innovation.

The ezone accelerates, mentors, and helps gain exposure for start-up, emerging, and existing entrepreneurs on the pathway to success. The ezone has assisted over 200 companies that have brought more than $121 million in investments to Northern Kentucky. Since our program began in 2001, we have assisted clients in achieving 44 awards through the Kentucky Enterprise Funds. Currently, we are working with a portfolio of approximately 70 companies that include people with nothing more than an idea all the way through multi-million dollar international corporations.

The ezone Experience
The ezone Experience is three-fold:

Location/Directions

Coming from Ohio: (I-75/71 South)
Exit 5th Street in Covington.
Turn left off of the exit onto 5th Street.
Follow 5th Street through town.
Turn right onto Madison Avenue.
The ezone is up one block on the right, at the corner of 6th and Madison,
535 Madison Avenue. (Republic Bank is on the lower floor.)

Coming from Kentucky: (I-75/71 North)
Exit 5th Street in Covington.
The exit ramp curves to the right; stay on 5th Street and follow through town.
Turn right onto Madison Avenue.
The ezone is up one block on the right, at the corner of 6th and Madison,
535 Madison Avenue. (Republic Bank is on the lower floor.)

Visitor Parking:
Turn right onto 6th street.
There is a lot on the left about a half block up the street. (Sign in lot says "Parking for 10 W. 6th Building).
There are reserved spots for the ezone (look for the reserved signs).
There is also plenty of metered street parking nearby.
